kove01 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Share Posted April 3, 2011 I'm doing a self install of the z120bt into my 2003 acura cl. it has the factory Bose system in it. based on crutchfields suggestion, i purchased the pac-soem4 unit to wire into the harnesses. my questions would be: 1) should i use RCA line inputs to pac-soem4 or the regular wiring? would this increase/decrease the quality of sound by using RCAs? 2) do i even need the pac-soem4? 3) is it entirely necessary to hook up VSS & reverse wire? I have intended on doing it, but figured i might as well ask. 4) Axxess ASWC or the pac-swi-ps steering wheel control adapter ? sorry for so many questions, i've done my own car stereos for years, but never had to deal with the lovely Bose system. any input and insight would be greatly appreciated.
