3.0 Upgrade restart problem

ive been reading about this topic for over a week now and cant seem to find the answer. So i have downloaded f90bt update 3.0 part 1 and 2 and unzipped and extracted its contents to my sd card. everything goes good i get into wince upgrade(format) it uploads fine then go to testmode select and copy my flashdisk from sd and paste in my flash disk on the device. after it gets through i remove my sd and reset it as instructions specify and all i can get is a blank screen ive tried numerous times and nothing. I could really use some advice please! i read on the EW 3.0 update that he uses a second file on a sd card that he puts into his deck and it completes the firmware update but its for europe help greatly appreciated.
