Reefkeeperj Posted June 14, 2011 Report Share Posted June 14, 2011 I bought a vehicle with this unit in it. I love it. Does anyone know of a way to manually change the GPS from day to night mode? I see on the GPS screen there is a button I can push, it should change it to night mode, however it does not. I am not sure if the correct wire was hooked up for night mode to my light panel fuse box. Also, any referrals for back up cameras? This unit is in a Tahoe, the camera would be very helpful. Thanks. 1loudls Posted June 17, 2011 Report Share Posted June 17, 2011 i would pull it out and connect the illum wire, it would be a pain in the ass to go into the settings all the time to switch from night to dark mode all the time. as fas as camera's go, the cheap ones usually dont last as long, or look as good at night. a lot of people on here are using one of the boyo models. also the pioneer and sony cameras are great but they will definitely cost you.
