goldbergv95 Posted August 9, 2011 Report Share Posted August 9, 2011 I have D3 with the steering wheel controls and every time I press the seek or back steering wheel button for the ipod music it works fine. But when listening to the radio station FM/AM, the steering wheel features does not work but rather, for example, your at 92.3 and you press forward it goes to 92.5. Is there a way to make the steering wheel controls work just like the ipod buttom features? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

1loudls Posted August 16, 2011 Report Share Posted August 16, 2011 this is simple, the AVIC uses tune up and down (not seek or preset for radio) and track up and down as the same buttons so in radio the buttons are tuning the radio one freq at a time, now you can reprogram the buttons to either do seek up and down (if will find the next station) or preset (it will jump to the next station preset)HOWEVER then the buttons will no longer change the song for CD's or the Ipod, so you have to choose what you would rather have the buttons do.
