time for more clues,

do you have any factory amps in the car driving the speakers?

do you have any aftermarket amps driving the speakers?

did both radios do this?

has the radio grounds been looked at (actually trying different grounding points)?

I have alternator whine, this is the second unit (930) in my truck (08 Titan) and its the same this was installed by a professional shop. even with ground loop filters I can still hear it faintly. anyone have any advise?

I you got aftermarket amps try this out it should work. I tried many times with pioneer radios and it works great... Don't be scared nothing will happen, First of get a piece of wire about 6in long ( doesn't need to be thick )and strip both tips of, next wrap one side to the outside of either front or rear rca outputs ( just one rca ) and plug it back in to the rca that goes to your amp, at last ground the remaining end of your cable to your pioneer chasis or tap into your any ground source.
