Super_Saxy
Hey, I have a new X930BT for my truck, but I realized that there isn't a hole in the rear of the unit for the back bracket support. I've searched around, but haven't really found a definitive answer. Should I drill a little hole in the back for the bracket? Thanks.
lbridges
I believe they (Pioneer) expect the unit to be mounted in what is typical ISO side-mount style -- 2 small screws on each side attached to parts that attach to the dash. That should be more than adequate. Now if you don't have side mounts, then that's a horse of a different color.
Bill K
What I did on my car was to make a little bracket with a rubber pad on it for the rear of the unit to sit on, It keeps the unit from sagging.
