F900BTuser
Unit does not play ipod now (plays for a split second and pauses), pandora no longer works. BT does work and so does playing audio through it. Pretty mad though. Whole reason i switched from Android to iPhone was to utilize my radio. Now i find out that you can't even get the iPhone back to iOS4. Now i know why i stayed with Android for so long. Bottom line: Android > iPhone Anyone know how to fix this? F900BTuser
Sorry, I am using a F930bt head unit with 3.
PJH
Pioneer is working on a fix for Pandora and Aha since these are their apps, not Apple's: http://www.pioneerel...ion/AVIC-X930BT IPod playback seems to have issues on IOS 5.0 in general. My older X710BT will play audio just fine, but if you switch to the video mode on the iPod interface it will reboot the unit. From what I can tell, there seem to be a few bugs in general with external video and audio output on IOS 5 outside of the AVIC units. Look I'm no Apple fan boy and I carry an Android and iPhone 4 phone with me every day. The one thing I can say is that Apple gets fixes out much quicker and adds features longer than any individual Android based phone ever will. My Motorola Droid 2 is about a year old and has probably seen its last firmware upgrade with Android 2.3 and it took about 7-9 month for that to become available. My wife has an iPhone 3GS that was introduced almost 2.5 years ago and it is still getting IOS updates, which I suspect will still continue for another 6-12 months. So all I can really say is have some patience. No promises, but I suspect Apple will have a fix out within a few weeks or a month or two. Not great, but I'll gaurantee you Android would be worse in this respect. Not great, but I'll guarantee you Android would be worse in this respect.
JLEA
I am experiencing the same problem with my ipod touch video, it reboots my F90bt as well. Any word on a fix for this yet? My 1st gen ipod plays video through the avic fine, so I am pretty sure its an ios problem.
