1loudls
so wait, your using the AVIC as the monitor for the carputer? if so, no you are using the carputer for the source, and you can have two sources active at the same time(no dual zone). however, you could have it rigged up to the the out put of the carputer was ran into the back up camera input of the avic, then run a switch to the reverse wire. then you could have a source playing music, then flip the switch to just have the video from the carputer showing over top of the music. however you would not also be able to have a reverse camera on the car. you could also have the carputer play the music itself, depending on the hardware, this may not sound as good, and probably wouldn't be as easy to control as the avic. kind of curious why you have both a carputer and an avic, most people that use a carputer, just use it for everything
phingoc
i am planning to buy a backup camera, so that port has to be free.. if im not running the backup cam through the carputer. I am using the carputer for web browsing in the car, and scangauge for fuel consumption etc. avic for playing music, becouse the interface on the avic looks better than any carputer software on the market.. and easier to navigate through songs directly on the avic.
