J-Dub
A while back, I found on this forum an adapter that would let you use the IP-Bus as an AUX A/V input. Does anyone here know of that adapter? Thanks in advance!
jimmy303
It won't be an A/V input, only audio. There are several adapters you can use from Pioneer, Peripheral Electronics, PAC and many other companies. One from Peripheral, the PXA-02, will give you an iPod input, rca's and a 3.5mm headphone jack on one unit. What do you need it to do?
tillithz
why not just use the av input that the avic already has?
jimmy303
Yeah, what he said.
J-Dub
I plan on using the AUX input for my factory DVD. I already have the wires set up and it worked with my AVH-P6500DVD HU. I'm wanting to integrate my Zune w/ video for playback on the Z1 screen. I just thought that since you can run a DVD changer through the IP-BUS there would be an adapter to run video. I swear I saw something on this forum about six months ago while lurking here. Another idea...anyone ever tried one of those video switcher units and can make a recomendation? jimmy303
The Pioneer switcher works pretty well, looks cool, and is easy to use, even for kids. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... 92,00.html The IP-bus only carries audio and command information.
