electronleaker
Hey guys, I've done the update to 3.0 and updated my maps to 2011q1 on my f90bt. I've had this unit for a couple years now and never have been able to figure out this 3d landmark or poi icon thing. You see it on pictures on the pioneer website and other places but I've never been able to see them on the unit itself. I normally flip through 2d and 3d regularily when I'm using the map or following directions from it and all I've ever seen are the flat 2d looking poi icons in 2d and 3d map view. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, could it be a setting? I've got files in my buildings, poi and map folders from the 3.0 update so I'm not seeing what I'm missing. Thanks for any input you may have, it's truely appreciated.
VBLUE42
What city are you in?
electronleaker
I'm in springfield mo now but I've had this unit while I was in N.W. Arkansas and in neither place have I ever seen a 3d landmark on my map in 2d or 3d mode. I prefer 3d mode though so I'm normally in that one. Also, doesn anyone know why after doing the update to 3.0 I no longer have street names on the map?
VBLUE42
3D buildings and landmarks are only supported for the biggest cities.
