phathead Posted January 3, 2012 Report Share Posted January 3, 2012 I have installed the 3300 and after reading hours of discussion over bypassing the hand brake i chose the relay method. I wired it all up hooked it up and it worked great. I tested it a couple more times after that and it still worked. Long story short now you put the dvd in the relay clicks. screen says it is formatting then screen goes to a blank background screen. You touch the screen and it comes up says DVD-V you can here the volume but the video is not there. Can someone help me with this I have checked and double checked but can't figure it out. The blue screen with all the writing does not come up for you to hit ok so I am lost. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
J4M3SON Posted January 12, 2012 Report Share Posted January 12, 2012 Not Sure if you still needed help but Check your pinouts on the relay and the connections to and from the relay. Make sure the background is set to "off". Reset the unit and try it again. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cyclesteel Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 If you have not figured it out yet it is your background. You cannot have a backgrounds turned on and watch a DVD. I amnot sure if it is every background or just the DVD source. You might have to go the each source and change the background to none.
