95sw21 Posted January 19, 2012 Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 well to start this off, i have 2 headunits, the x710bt and a f90bt. I bought an update chip off of ebay and updated my f90bt (which worked great, btw). Got the bright idea to use the same chip on my x710bt. Now, it just boosts up in windows. After joining this site I see now that they arnt similar like I once thought. What can I do to fix this? thanks! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
1loudls Posted January 25, 2012 Report Share Posted January 25, 2012 you will probably have to re-image the drive. as long as windows wasn't F'ed up, you will also need a copy of someones flash disc to copy to yours. you can also send it to pioneer with a check.
