AKGC
I got a x920bt used and one of the wires for the usb/ipod/aux cable is torn. It's going into a genesis coupe and the car itself has a ipod/aux connection in the armrest already. I have the pinout for this already for the armrest connection. What I need is the pinout for the cd-iu50v cable, so I could make an adaptor cable or just cut and splice the torn cable in. I don't think I need the pinout for the USB part of it, but I would like the pinout for the 3.5mm part of it. My theory is that its just a line out for the left and right channels and one of the contacts is for video, and a ground. I know that the 3.5mm cable is a 4 pole connect. I just need to know what order they go in, because I've dealt with other A/V out cables and some of them have the video and ground signals in different orders. and the connector in the armrest does accept a 4 pole aux connector (has 4 contacts internally) and a USB connection. Thanks. BTW, the stereo is not installed yet. I want to get everything squared away before installing it.
zx6rrdan
From this thread http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/33526-ipod-cables/page__fromsearch__1 Good choice going 51 the V is the difference.. the 50 has Apple to USB. The 51 has the Iphone to USB and the extra 3.5mm you can see in the picture you posted. That connector is the video output you'll need to have video out to your Avic. While the jack looks like a normal headphone audio jack it's actually Audio Video.
