senseiken Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 Hi all, I recently bought another Avic x1r from ebay, in order to replace my previous unit that was unable to reproduce dvd anymore (mechanism error). Everything was perfect except for the gps. Even using my original cndv 40mt cartography the display said "insert an appropriate disk", but dvd movies were ok...! Please note that the unit went with a burned copy of the cndv 100mt, and the gps didn't work anyway. So, I tried a firmware downgrade following the step-by-step procedure found here, in service mode. But it failed. Now when turning on the Avic asks for an appropriate disk and reboot everytime... Just the radio works. Is there some extraprocedure to fit the things up? Thanks in advance!
