Recommended Posts

Has anyone had any success using a solid state drive in a USB enclosure with there Z140bh, I have been reading around and have not found much information yet on this topic.

Thanks for any information

Thanks, that was the answer I was looking for.

Only reason I would rather a SSD then a SD Card I feel would be the read speeds (100MB/s to 500MB/s Vs 10MB) I am not sure if the Avic head units can even remotely manage speeds like this but I thought it would make video a lot less choppy.

Limit for video file is 1000kb/s total bit rate for the file so it is well below the card speed limit. I use a class 10 microSD card that is fast reading and writing and no lag issues with video.
