Recommended Posts

i just purchased a AVIC x930bt. and im wanting to install it myself in a 2006 silverado, bose and does not have onstar. I was reading the installation instructions and it was telling me to hook into my reverse gear, and speed sensor signal wire. i have no clue where either of those are at. anyone done a write up for a 06 silverado.

thanks

metra makes a GMOS-04 harness made for BOSE and supplies all of those navi wires through the harness. It works via the data signal that is present in the vehicles factory wiring harness. The module will retain the door chime for key in the ignition as well as low fuel chime, tire pressure chime, change oil chime, engine service chime, etc.
