magilla Posted June 11, 2012 Report Share Posted June 11, 2012 I've got an old Avic-Z2 and now I've got trouble with the device thinking I'm moving (or at least I assume that's the issue.) Used to I could play dvds while I was parked, search addresses. I tried the permanant bypass for the dvd and brake work around the dvd played while I was driving for a little while, then it reverted. Now I cannot search addresses, watch dvds period (it gives the lockout screen). and now I'm just at my wits end to get this thing working right. This unit was preinstalled by the owner before me, and as far as I can tell, the cars speed computer, and reverse lights aren't hooked up. I know ppl are going to tell me to look in the other faqs I plan to do so. I'm just looking to see if anyone has had this problem as well. afterall we're all here for help Quote Link to post Share on other sites
