jayno20
That is the message I get if I have shuffle on while listening to .mp3's on my 16gb sd card. If I turn shuffle off then back on it will work for a while before again giving me that same message. I have tried 3 different cards which were also all different sizes one which only had 2 folders on it and overall like 12 songs. Does anyone know what is causing this? jchandra
I just ran into this problem with an x930bt. For me, it had to do with some hidden files that OSX writes. Not sure if you're using a Mac, but if you are, see if you have files labeled "._TRACK NAME.mp3" on the card in your stereo (they're hidden in OSX so you wont see them in Finder). The solution was to use a program called BlueHarvest which wipes all these hidden files. I think there are some scripts that you can run also if you'd rather go that route. jayno20
I'm using windows but I still think this somehow applies because it didn't always do this. Will that program work for windows as well?
jchandra
BlueHarvest is specifically a Mac program, and the issue with the hidden files is OS X specific, to my knowledge. When your deck skips tracks, can you see which track specifically it skips? That was the key to figuring out what was going on for me. It was only hitting the error on the "._TRACK NAME" files.
