forbill Posted January 7, 2013 Report Share Posted January 7, 2013 I have a x940bt . For some reason the bypass quite working. It worked fine for 4-5 months. Anyone have an idea what to check or do? I check all connections and even changed the ground from the harness to a chassis ground. Still not working. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
m.a.s.e Posted January 7, 2013 Report Share Posted January 7, 2013 gota be the connection. check the harness it self, see that the cable hadnt popped out of the harness. no other logical reason why it would suddenly stop without firmware upgrade or any change... forbill Posted January 8, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2013 That was the first thing I checked. I actually pulled the wire out completely and reinstalled it. I even did a factory reset. I think the harness ground was an issue because my steering wheel controls stopped working also. After connecting to chassis ground it started working again but the bypass still doesn't work.
