X930 | Unreadable Disc Error

Recommended Posts

I've installed a X930BT in my '06 Dodge Charger. Everything was done pretty easily and I still have to go back and install a few things. However, I put things on halt because I kept receiving a "Unreadable Disc" error. I've tried to play authentic CDs and CDs that I burned. Both are a no-go. I was wondering if any of you guys had any insight on what might be the issue here.

I googled the issue and read somewhere about the logic board. I'm hoping someone has a remedy that wouldn't call for me to send it back to Pioneer and get it fixed for $230.

Thank you in advance

What do you mean by "authentic" when you say they were burned? The ones I have used are just collections of MP3 files in a regular sub directory layout like on a PC. Do the discs play on another head unit or even another PC? To burn CD-ROMs for music I use a program named "InfraRecorder" which is free and works well to make music discs.

I mean a store purchased audio CD. The X930BT won't play any CD at all.
