GCRamiro Posted June 16, 2013 Report Share Posted June 16, 2013 Hey my dad gave me his older 700bt headunit and I just threw it in my new car. I threw a bunch of songs, MP3 format, on an SD card and updated the firmware. Everything worked fine a few minutes than my headunit crashed and kept restarting. I reformatted my card and threw a few songs on there again and still had the same problem. At first I thought my card was bad and decided to use my dads card. At this point I realized that none of the songs I put on via my Mac (OS X 10.6. would not play. It would play the first song and than when I tried to skip to a new song or tried to select it using the list it would crash. All of my dad's songs he put on via his Windows 7 machine play fine without a problem. Does a Mac format MP3 differently? Am I missing an update or something.
