x930 bt problems upgrading to 3.001

To all Professionals,

 

 

I had Pioneer mail me the SD card containing the 3.01 upgrade  and when I insert it, it does absolutely nothing.  

 

Does anyone know what to do?

Doesn't the x930bt come with the 3.001 firmware?  Mine did!

If your factory firmware is already 3.001, that's probably why it didn't do anything.  Check your firmware version as described by Pioneer:

 

Check the version number of your current software by completingthe following steps:

•Press the “HOME†key

•Select the “Settings†tab

•Select “System Settingsâ€

•Select “Service Informationâ€

•Press and hold the upper left corner of the “Service Information†screen for a few seconds

•The "Platform Version" number and the "Application Version" number will be displayed --please look at the "Application Version" number, which is displayed on the second line

My version is the original 3.00 and want to upgrade to the 3.001.

Well, then I guess it should work.  Make sure it's inserted all the way in (ie. you shouldn't be able to simply pull it out without pushing it back in) and turn on the ignition.

I did the same thing.  I upgraded the firmware when I first got it by downloading it, but the other day I noticed that it said version 3.0000, and I had Pioneer mail me an SD card with it loaded on there.  I put the SD card in and nothing. I then put in the card I had before and still nothing.  I can't figure out what's going on!
