PaisanNYC
Its like they're trying to appeal to overprotective mothers and christian conservatives so the NAB can come out as the group of heros trying to protect common decency. On the outside for appearance of course. On the inner-workings of the NAB, it's all about the cheddar for them, money speaks to them, and they can't stand competition to free radio from SatRad. Think about HD radio. What will it be? It will basically be MUCH more of the "Jack" format seen around much of the country now. Pre recorded DJ bits, slightly bigger playlist, and MUCH MUCH more commercials. I listened to Jack here in NYC when it first started broadcasting on what was once a classic station (101.1), and there were commercials after every 3rd song or so. I say "f..." free fm!
