delboymel Posted October 21, 2013 Report Share Posted October 21, 2013 OK, as the GPS was not connecting successfully on my 4th gen ipod touch with my appradio 2, i thought i'd buy a cheap iPhone 3GS. BUT whilst the music works, obviously the apps do not. Am i correct in thinking that if i jailbreak the 3gs, and install Appradio Extensions (and poss some other bits!), i could run igo primo and some other apps via the AR2? If not, i'll sell the 3gs and look at Plan C (not that i have a plan B or C!) In essence, i have an iPhone 5S but my AppRadio 2 was installed when i had my 4S, hence has the 30 pin connector. But i simply wanted a device i could keep in my car that was always connected to the AR2, to use for music and sat nav. I bought an iPod touch 4th gen,but it very rarely finds GPS when connected to the AR2, despite me force closing apps, rebooting etc etc Any advice gratefully received Quote Link to post Share on other sites
