Rodz
Is anyone else running this and able to start AppRadio mode? My 5s connects fine over bluetooth but I get a "Downloading firmware" message when connecting to the lightning cable and the AppRadio icon never lights up. Cheers P.S. I am a registered Apple Developer so I am a valid beta user and know about the pitfalls of betas!
DP3343
My phone is running fine on beta 3. I have an iphone 5. What phone are you using?
Rodz
I've got a 5s connected to AppRadio 2 via the digital AV adapter. I've tried a complete restore of the phone and that hasn't worked either. Also re-paired it with the head unit. Any other ideas?
DP3343
Where does this downloading firmware screen pop up? your iPhone or the appradio?
Rodz
The message came up on the iPhone screen. I upgraded to beta 4 last night and it's ok now - no idea what was up with my install of beta 3! Cheers!
DP3343
Then that would have been a phone issue. Most likely the phone wasn't able to download the firmware for the hdmi adaptor. The little guy is its own computer with an OS and everything hence the like 15 second boot up time every time you plug it in. The beta was probably having issues updating/installing software on it that it needed to run. Educated guess on my part since I didn't see this issue you had.
