Before I do so I was wondering if anyone with the 4.0 update can comment on any features that were lost during the process (i.e. Voice command etc...) do any of you have a steering wheel control translator module like the metra or pac unit? did that need reprogramming after the update? do you wish you never did the update? just trying to build a mental compilation of what to expect after updating. thanks! douger Posted February 19, 2014 Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 I have the Metra unit in my car. If I remember, once it paired up everything functioned as it should. From what I've read on the forums, you'll lose voice command when you do the update. My Z150 doesn't have it at all, and from what I gather, the 2014 won't have voice command either, other than an interface with Siri on the Apple products. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If i do, in fact, lose voice command then the update will be something im no longer interested in. i hope someone who's done it will chime in with direct experience, however, thanks for your input.
