The reason why I purchased the Euro version is that it is a specific fit made by Pioneer for my vehicle. I am having a few issues.... I have called Pioneer Canada and asked them for the most up to date firmware and/or North American maps for it. It currently has the NA maps that the previous owner put on. They said that I should not update anything. They would not guarantee that anything from North America would work. Also, I am having a problem with the AM section. It seems that the Euro version "steps" 9MHz every touch. In North America it is supposed to be 10MHz (I think??). So I cant tune in to the proper stations. (try to get 590 and it goes from 495 to 593). Is ther any way this can be adjusted within the firmware? There is no setting to adjust the AM "step", only the FM. Are the NA firwares compatible with the Euro models? I am assuming that the guts are all the same, just loaded with different firmwares?? Any help on any of the above is much appreciated!!!
