cpod
I am currently on 8.17 due to the CAUTION having the [ ] around it. I downloaded the firmware from Pioneer itself. 3 differnet flash drives formatted to FAT32 8,16,32gb and only the file "SPH-DA100_SYS_UC_Ver08.30.yuk" placed. Everytime i turn it on I recieve the up file error. Is there a fix or what am I missing?
Cathaldub
is the usb stick completely blank?
cpod
is the usb stick completely blank? Yes it is. Double checked for hidden files or anything and just 1 file on the root location. Every flash drive was formated in Windows 8.1 for FAT32.
Cathaldub
Been a long time since I did an upgrade but I think I had trouble with one and then tried them in the reverse order or the instructions, the .hat file first and then the yuk and it worked, I also somehow managed to load the US firmware onto my UK radio by mistake which made everything go a bit funny
cpod
***RESOLVED!!!*** Windows 8.1 was the problem. Using the system format tool for FAT 32 made the flash drives unreadable. I used an older WIndows 7 pc, and 1st try worked without a problem. When in doubt try formating the drives with another Operating Sytem
