eng492
Hello, I just bought a new Toyota FJ Cruiser that has the D1 installed at the dealer. The FJ has an AUX input in the dash for an IPOD. The FJ owners manual says the AUX input will not work with an aftermarket headunit. If this is the case is there another way to connect the IPOD other than paying for a 50 dollar pioneer part and 50 dollars to install? Currently, I am using an FM transmitter with lots of static noise. Please advise on any other mods/hacks, functions that can work on this unit.
haulin oats
the only way to do it is with the iPod cable from Pioneer.
cntrylvr79
How about in the future only posting the question once.
coocho
Not true, you could use RCA cables too. There are some on ebay that plug directly behind your navigation unit. It also has a handy charger. costs about 14 dollars. You will have to control it through your ipod but that is true with your raido transmitter as well.
