VBLUE42
Guys, im getting really inaccurate POI icon placement on the map in some areas, some as much as a block off. Do you think this is just inaccurate map data on the disk or bad antenna reception.
coocho
Did you connect your VSS? Either way, if it is anything like the Z2, then most of the POIs do not have direct address mapping. It does a form of estimating among adress ranges. Say you have an address range of 0-1000. If you want to find a house with adress 500, it brings you to the center. Using the Z1, I can tell you that this is by far the worst way to esitimate a location. My Z1 alway rings before im actually there. Sometime greater than a block. VBLUE42
VSS is connected and giving a strong pulse reading so i know thats not the problem. So it sounds like this is normal and just map data inaccuracies then right. And this is an issue with other units other then the D3?

The z2 supposedly will have exact mapping for a lot of pois.
