Scooby328 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 Hey All, I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the speed sensing wire on a 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX. I looked it up and found the following: Control Lever: 250-3421 Adapter: NOT NEEDED VSS Wire: LOCATION 3- 3 CONNECTORS ON ECM MIDDLE CONNECTOR VSS Wire Color: GREEN/YELLOW VSS Pulse: 4000 VSS Tach Wire: LOCATION 16- AT COIL Tach Signal Wire Color: RED Brake Switch Positive: WHITE/BLACK Brake Switch Negative: BLUE/YELLOW But I'm unsure of where exactly the position is and where to start looking for it under the dash. MisFit Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 green/yellow , ecm below glove box SUBARU, IMPREZA, 2003, Speed Sense On the non-turbo models the vss is in pin 10 of the 20 pin plug. On the turbo models the vss is in pin 1 of the 22 pin plug. The vss wire is also found behind the instrument cluster in the 10 pin plug. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
