Recommended Posts

Everything works except the address book. When I try to transfer it disconnects, every time!

Can anyone help me with this?

I need any help I can get! It disconnects when I click transfer address book from the avic and my phone won't transfer when I click transfer on the phone. What am I doing wrong?? Any help?

its suppose to disconnect.

when you hit transfer on d3, and it disconnects, that mean d3 ready to receive the contacts.

So, what you should do is that, when it disconnects, send one contact at a time to d3 and it should go through.

no i was able to send them all at once from my blackberry pearl, it will disconnect after i sends them all however.

1) Click transfer phone book within Avic

2) Note that BT disconnects on BB.

3) Open options => Bluetooth on Pearl

4) Menu key on Pioneer BT, select "transfer phone book"

5) wait a while. Do not interrupt.

6) After transfer, re-connect from BB, as in return to BT menu and hit "Connect" on Pioneer.

7) Make test call. Enjoy vaguely adequate phone book functionality.

Any issues, email me. jayratch@gmail.com. I know a bit about Blackberries.

jayratch,

I've posed these questions before. Perhaps you can assist:

I've finally got my Pearl registered with the D3. However, when I press Voice I will not hear, "Say a command." and, if I say the name, I will not hear "Did you say...". Yet when I answer "Yes", it will dial and can complete the call with ring, dial tones, callers voice etc. Is there a setting that is preventing the phone prompts from being heard?

Also, just for my knowledge, will the BT always connect passively or, must I actively turn on the BT on my phone then go thru the menues on the D3 and start the connection?

Also, never got the phone book to upload to the BT (really won't need it if I get the prompts to play). Are there any instruction that you know of?

Thanks,

-Stevie
