jpfay Posted May 10, 2007 Report Share Posted May 10, 2007 Looking for the vss wire on my '04 Grand Prix. It has the 'speed compensated volume' option on the stock cd player. So I am assuming it is one of the wires in the smaller wire harness that used to go to the factory radio. I just need a little help on which one. nosaJ-11C7 Posted April 29, 2010 Report Share Posted April 29, 2010 I'm also looking for the VSS wire. Here is the engine compartment with the engine cover removed. I think the TAC module is the black box on the center right of the photo, which falls between the air intake and the supercharger. You can see that I pulled back the wire cover going to the harness. Based on cntrylvr79's description, I think VSS is the green wire in the picture below. Can anyone who has already done a Grand Prix install confirm this? Thanks!
