wlman1959 Posted June 19, 2007 Report Share Posted June 19, 2007 I am having trouble with FM stations it appears that i am losing singal strenght my antenna is in my back window i am wondering if this is the cause of my problem with stations being weak, I am also wondering if i need to hook up the blue antenna wire from unit, or am i getting interference from some where, I made sure that all my connection were nice and tight, on the display of unit i am only seeing two to three bars , I used the program to lock in the station but still having problems please help Quote Link to post Share on other sites

MisFit Posted June 20, 2007 Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 no, thats not how you hook that up anyway. the blue wire supplies 12v to the antenna amplifier in some cars or it turns on the motor of a power antenna. did you hook up the blue/white from the avic to the green/red in the radio harness?
