hookid
I'm working on installing a Avic D3 in my 2002 Volvo S60. An issue is that the volvo dash does not have a regular double din slot. I want the D3 to look very stock in my volvo and I'm not sure how I should go about having a place install it etc. Just looking at getting some suggestions on how I could install it in this type of situation. Thanks in advance. Picture of my car's interior: [/img]
cntrylvr79
There is no double din dash kit made by any of the major manufacturers metra, scosche, ami or bestkits, at least in the us anyway. So you've either got some fabbing or cutting of a single din kit to do.

cntrylvr79
Probably a mix of wood, plastic, and ALOT of fiberglass and resin.
