fubar
I have an N1 with CNDV 60 disks with no problems but when i installed the 70 disks it appears that i lost some of my streets in the area i live in, i'm not able to plot any routes, it would be as if i had the parking brake down!!! And when i try to enter " go to home" the route doesn't complete and says there's an error! Any ideas of what could be happening?
installthis06
I would downgrade back to the 60 series discs Pretty sure there is a forum on here with how to do that...search
fubar
Why would you downgrade back to the 60 disks? Wouldn't you want updated maps? That's the only reason why i wanted the 70's in the frist place.
Termminaator68
Is it a legit disk or a copy? If it is a copy sounds like a bad disk. Had the same errors way back on my 5700 with DVD80.
fubar
I tried re-installing the disk again, i simply reset the unit and installed the 70 disk and went through the initial setup procedure, but by the looks of it, the maps in my area didn't upgrade( i've been here for 3 years) and i can still insert my 60 disk and it reads it just fine! It should ask me to insert appropriate disk right!? Any thoughts???
cntrylvr79
If insterting the 60 series disc after you've put in the 70 series disc still works, then congrats you've been had. The "70" series disc you bought is a fake. THere's been quite a number of those floating around ebay for a while now.
fubar
That's what i thought! In the map disk under settings, hardware info, does it tell you what map software you have?
