netmaxrealty
I recently got my hands on a new Navi-DVD but the second disc for east coast and I live in northern CaliforNIA, and I was tempted to put it in my D1 and so I did. After it updated my system, it will not accept the 2005 Navi DVD Disk 1 anymore. It keeps giving me the " Please Enter Appropriate Disk" message when I put my old navi-dvd in. Anyway that I can downgrade to the old 2005 version so I can use my old navi dvd instead of paying for a new navi-dvd disk 1? 2005 GMC Yukon SL Pioneer AVIC D1 Almanni 700W Dual Electronics 2x 12"
PaisanNYC
Next time come here and ask before you go and mess it all up. Search the forums. The instructions to downgrade have been posted before.
netmaxrealty
Ok. Thanks. I know. It was just one of those stupid things that you suddenly decide to do. But still I have a questions for you; if I were to purchase a copy of the newer version of the navi-disk, would that make the routes and data work fine???
Aconite
I have been searching for the downgrade instructions but can not find them. I know there were here because I used them to downgrade my D1. I found one thread where I responded that the instructions worked, but the instructions were not there ... maybe the downgrade instructions have been deleted.
chido
bump....i'm having the same issue with searching for downgrade instruction. And for shits and giggles i'll throw on the flame-proof suit for the douche bags who feel it necessary to flame rather than post a link.
