supaguy Posted August 5, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2007 nothing?? no one knows how to get into the test screen??? i have the d2 service manual..but all it shows is the schematics. and the other one is a d1 deck that tells me to hold down the reset and eject button at the same time. here's what the manual says... "1. How to start the test mode 1. When +Battery and ACC are ON, push RESET and EJECT buttons simultaneously. 2. Release RESET button only. 3. When “password entry screen†is displayed, release EJECT button. 4. Enter the password. 5. When the password has been entered, press [ENTER] key. 6. If the correct password has been entered, the test mode menu will be displayed. * The password entry screen, as the one used in the previous model, is no longer displayed." what does the "When +Battery and ACC are ON..." mean?? This is when you have turned on your ignition and normally would get a startup from your AVIC.
