vfr800rider Posted August 14, 2007 Report Share Posted August 14, 2007 I just installed the d3 in a 2006 frontier nismo. I didnt hook up the VSS and the GPS seems fine. I grounded out the parking brake on the HU. I also moved the mute wire (can someone tell me what this does???). Before I connected the antena to the GPS it would play DVD's while moving, after I connected the antena wire it stopped playing DVD's while moving. Does the GPS sense that im moving now and prevent the DVD from working?? Does it realise it is bypassed? Please help. Also does anyone know to connect the VSS on this model? tjc005 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Share Posted August 15, 2007 When you say it played DVDs before you installed the antenna, do I understand correctly that you took the unit out to connect the antenna? If so, I would definitely check the white plug and especially the relocated mute wire. That plug can come loose if you don't make sure to snap it into place. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
