faran_r87
hi i installed my d3 in today everything works from music to movies and stuff, the only problem i have is with the navigation, i did the bypass as recommended, and that was a success, but when i go to like point of interest or search (mainly all the navigation options) its says "function not allowed in memory navi mode" so how do i fix this problem. knight20
Okay, I'll be nice. You need the nav disc inserted if you want to do an address search, POI search... basically anything under the nav screen. Once you have everything set to go to your waypoints and destination, wait until the info is stored into the memory. Once it is saved, you can go ahead and eject the nav disc for another CD/DVD. If you want to add another way point or change anything in the Nav, you will have to re-insert the Nav disc. This is a major gripe about the D3 and has been discussed alot, which is why using search should have brought up something. Solutions are just to listen to Sat Radio or get an Ipod. faran_r87
ok interesting only one more question and than i will stop lol does it store the info into its memory or do i have to keep doing it over and over again i mean like acertain location?
tim1086
If you stop it will retain the info. If you go too far off the course then you will have to recalculate.
