2005 Audi S4 D3 questions

Guys,

 

I'm going to be getting the D3 soon but had a few (maybe stupid) questions regarding it and its application to my car.

 

I currently have XM on the factory Bose Symphony Head Unit. I realize the D3 uses it's own antenna, however I was wondering if I can tap into the existing factory unit. Same question regarding the Navigation. If I cannot tap in, where are the antennas typically installed? I don't want to mess up the clean factory apperance with a bunch of antennas all over the car.

 

Also, what specific instructions should I give my installer about by- passing for Nav, BT and DVD? Any specific equipment required? I know the owner of the shop so I know they will do it.

 

One more question. Overall, how happy is everyone with the BT functionality of the D3. This is a very important piece for me. My car is pretty quiet inside even on the freeway. Is the sound quality clear for both sides?
