The installer hooked up the speed pulse but then disconnected it and he said "the vehicle speed pulse is too fast for the screen to read" I only have a functional understanding of the speed pulse. I have a listing for the VSS in your truck as: Speed sense in the yellow/black wire at the ECM, black 73 pin plug, pin 57 The ECM (Engine Control Module) is on the driver side fender, behind the headlight.
