pasquale545 Posted December 16, 2014 Report Share Posted December 16, 2014 I haveI had originally i INA W900 Alpine headunit, (2005 Hummer H@) I purchased a avh 4000 NEX and did not want to pay 200 plus to just switch the headunit, I attemped to do it myself everything is now working except for the rear view camera and the sterring wheel controls The Rearview comes up only when i select Ground on the camera settings How do i make it work when i put in to reverse Also The Steering Wheel Controls (which where all wired previously to my Alpine is all connected except for 1 wire which is green with a grey stripe (i think it might be remote) Any help would be Great Thnak You Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Nillaz Posted December 16, 2014 Report Share Posted December 16, 2014 Whichever steering wheel interface you have (Axxess, etc.) is programmed for Alpine control. You need to reprogram it for use with a Pioneer. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
jhren Posted December 16, 2014 Report Share Posted December 16, 2014 The HU reverse wire lead must be connected to a vehicle wire or connector terminal which changes voltage state when putting the shift lever into reverse (0V to +12V or vice-versa) and again when shifting out of reverse (+12V to 0V or vice-versa).
