ScoobyDoo555
Still enjoying my trusty old F900BT Whilst I'm looking for a host for V4 (Eu firmware), I got thinking about how my Wife's car streams audio via bluetooth. Is this possibly on the F900bt yet? I know it didn't do it out of the box..... so what about when you get under the hood...... Has anybody played with this, or is the machine just too old now? Steven
This is exactly the reason I came back on here. Debating purchasing a new head unit, but would rather keep what I got if I could get that feature enabled/working. Or is something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Streambot-Bluetooth-Receiver-Streaming/dp/B00MJMV0GU The only option?
manulolo
Hello, I have a lot of time looking for a solution. Before I had an iPhone 4S, and this cable http://www.ebay.es/itm/Cable-adaptador-para-Pioneer-AVIC-F700-AVIC-F700BT-AVIC-F900-AVIC-F900BT-/281287289889?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_186&hash=item417e076c21it was perfect, with the steering wheel controls had play, pause, forward, backward and information on the screen during playback. So far so good. The problem is that I have now changed to a Galaxy S5 and would like the same. I searched and seen many things, cables, adapters bluetooth. I think if bluetooth, must support AVRCP so that information is presented on screen and work with the steering wheel controls. I've seen this http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Receiver-Adapter-Superior-Wirelessly/dp/B00CMBKR58supposedly has the AVRCP protocol and had to return because it was not working. There are many more like this http://www.ricco.tv/ricco-bluereach-bluetooth-21-aux-out-apple-30-pin-converter-392-p.asphe says support the protocol and commands. Then there is a more expensive solution that might work like this http://www.viseeostore.com/viseeo-tune2air-wma3000b.htmlcould even work directly without the 30-pin cable. I asked the manufacturer and am awaiting a response. If anyone knows anything more we will be very thankful that we count. If I have news, I communicate by here. Regards. greggsm7
I too am interested in playing music through the built-in bluetooth. I noticed when I played a video sent through text message to my iphone, the audio did play out of the car speakers with my phone connected to the bluetooth. Which means that these units are capable of playing audio via the built-in bluetooth. Let me know your thoughts on this one. Thanks
