RedVet Posted March 3, 2016 Report Share Posted March 3, 2016 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Recently installed avh4100nex in 2006 corvette. The biggest complaint is I'm unable to get any sound from the unit. The USB is connected to port#1, and then attached to my Iphone6 with apple lightning cable. Most of the time I am unable to get carplay to function. If I go through bluetooth I get periodic sound as well. Using the HD Radio netted the same results. There is no power issues or wiring connection issues, the sound comes through sporadically. The timer counts down and the mute is not activated. I've reset the system with no luck. I've tried using the carplay with wifi/bluetooth off and disabled the handoff/installed apps on my phone. I start my vehicle with brake on, then connect phone while on and sporadic sound. Very unhappy with the amount of $$$ spent! Please Help! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Multitask Posted March 3, 2016 Report Share Posted March 3, 2016 if you are not getting any sound with the radio, then I'd guess it doesn't have anything to do with the other connections. I'm betting on loose or incorrect wireing, or defective unit. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
