I apologize ahead of time for I know this has probably already been covered somewhere else in this forumn (I can't find it). I'm having major issues upgrading my firmware on my 8000NEX to 1.11 from 1.10. Sparky 1320 Posted April 28, 2016 Report Share Posted April 28, 2016 Keep clicking into the downloaded zip file until you get to the folder labeled "AVIC5000NEX". That is the folder you want to put on your SD card. Make sure there is nothing else on the card prior to putting the folder on it. (I always go so far as to reformat the SD Card just to be sure.) But "Version Error" would lead me to doublecheck firmware revision levels both on what is already installed on the unit and what you're trying to install. That would make me think either you already have the version you are trying to install, OR, you downloaded the wrong file...
