Illumination wire for day/night (orange/white) 2. VSS or Car Speed Signal Input (pink) 3. Reversegear Signal Input (violet/white) My "professional" installer did not know how to do this part. Thankfully he just left them alone instead of messing it up by guessing. Thank you for whatever help you can provide!! -Brett P.S. - I did the bypass and it worked great!! Teddie018 Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 This for a 2000 Maxima. I'm not sure if it's the same for a 2002. 1. The VSS wire is on the back of the instrument cluster. It is the pink and blue striped wire on the middle plug. 2. The reverse wire is either of the non grounded wires going to the back up lights. 3.
