SurfGuruJeff
After my battery was unplugged for a prolonged period (while installing a surge tank in my car) I noticed my head unit is stuck on the splash screen and boot looping. I tried the following before posting: 1. Unplugged car battery for a few minutes - no help 2. Unplugged head unit main plug for a few minutes - no help 3. Unplugged everything but the main plug from the back of the main unit to see if it was an ancillary hardware problem - no help 4. Downloaded TESTMODE.KEY (not hackmode) and successfully got into testmode, but then it freezes after 5 seconds and the loop begins again. The unit looks like it was professionally installed, and it hasn't been tampered with. I'm pretty confused as to what to do next besides scrap it....? Other head units out there that share the same exact plugs that I can upgrade to???
SurfGuruJeff
Tonight while trying to install a firmware update, it froze right in the middle of it. So now it seems like it's almost totally bricked.
