Incase anyone else needing fix for X8650 stuck in boot loop: splash screen then "please wait...", this worked for me (Singapore unit):

extract using winrar, mount onto sd card, replace into unit. done.

 

incase you're wondering how to do on a mac:

i used winzip to extract the .img file then used balenaEtcher to write the file to a fresh fat formatted sd. Did not use any of the other files.

I have a sph-da120 with the adapter card broken. I have tried  to download but it ask me permissions

could you make me access?
