vetteguy Posted May 9, 2018 Report Share Posted May 9, 2018 Just installed an 8200 in my R8 along with a Maestro to retain steering wheel controls, parking sensors, etc. Thing is, the unit takes so long to boot up (~30 seconds plus having to hit OK to the disclaimer message) that the parking sensors and reverse cam are pretty much useless. Hard to believe their flagship head unit would take so damn long to boot! Any advice? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
vetteguy Posted May 11, 2018 Author Report Share Posted May 11, 2018 NVM, I hadn't installed the reverse cam when I posted, just had the parking sensors. With the reverse cam installed, it trumps everything as soon as I put it in reverse. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
